"Without peace, there is no hope"

Without peace, security, human rights, and successful governance based on the rule of law, we cannot hope for long-term growth. Nonetheless, our world is being deeply divided. While some regions enjoy stability, security, and development, others seem to be trapped in a never-ending cycle of conflict and violence. This isn't unavoidable, and it needs to be discussed.

Armed violence and instability have a negative effect on a country's progress, disrupting economic growth and often resulting in long-term grievances. When there is dispute or no rule of law, sexual harassment, crime, exploitation, and torture are all common, and countries must take steps to protect those who are most vulnerable.
